@BlumenMit sharing food "equally" will be the source of endless dispute & politicking & discontent - how much more should a muscular tall man get? a pregnant woman? a person doing manual labor? etc etc ... also you'll be eating verrry seasonally and spend a lot of time on food preservation
@BlumenMit also you'd have to give up anything that requires more specialization & scale than a village can support- no more chips or electronics, just herbal medicine, etc
