tbc there's a sympathetic & i think more common version of this where the husband is doing his best and struggling with the adjustment and yeah partners need to continue to prioritize each other and their connection including sex
and i think it is awful when kids get weaponized against the other parent, teaches triangulation and fucks the vibes between both parents and their kid rather than the parents having direct conflict w each other
but i also think women are rightly terrified of being abandoned while vulnerable with a newborn and evolutionarily tuned to detect that particular scenario and react w outrage
