i was amused by the depth of the self cutout and enjoyed it after i struggled through the first few chapters where i think he was still getting his stride with the writing. i remember being horrified by the draco rape thing and wondering wtf sort of person would write that, and i thought quirrell was clearly evil, having read the original books first probably set my priors there?
