wrt sf, when a large percentage of the population in a community have autism, i think the culture of the whole community begins to pick up autistic traits because normiedom is about being attuned to coordinate your behaviors and beliefs with those of the people around you. if enough ppl are being weird in the same way, it starts to win the mental calculation of what's normal and propagate through normies as appropriate behavior
