i think there's a big scale problem that limits the possibility of high welfare lives vs the current human population * consumption rates. also the land used for growing feed could mostly be returned to a more complex wild ecosystem. i care about biodiversity and freedom not just utility maxxing till every life is just slightly better than suicide
