Jurassic Park

Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel follows a group of scientists and business executives visiting a private island where a billionaire has used genetic engineering to resurrect dinosaurs from ancient DNA. What begins as a tour of a high-tech amusement park quickly devolves into a survival thriller as the park’s security systems fail and the animals escape. The narrative interweaves the immediate physical danger of the predators with a broader intellectual argument about chaos theory, illustrating how small, unpredictable variables can lead to catastrophic systemic collapse.
