Little Men
The sequel to Little Women, this novel follows the March sisters as they navigate adulthood, marriage, and motherhood in post-Civil War America. The narrative centers on Jo March, who, alongside her husband Professor Bhaer, establishes Plumfield, a progressive school for boys. The story balances the domestic trials of raising children with the educational and moral challenges of running an unconventional institution, where a group of orphaned boys learn to find their footing in a warm, if chaotic, household.
