Recursion
New York City detective Barry Sutton investigates a mysterious epidemic dubbed False Memory Syndrome, which drives victims to madness with vivid recollections of lives they never lived. As the phenomenon spreads, Sutton discovers it is not a disease but a weaponized force attacking the fabric of the past itself. His search for the truth leads him to Helena Smith, a neuroscientist who has developed technology to preserve and re-experience human memories. Together, they must confront an entity that unmake reality as they know it, racing to stop a threat that erodes the boundary between what is real and what is remembered.
