Oct 9, 2024Twitter · reply@nickcammarata wrt connection & dissolving boundaries around the self- when i move my mind a bit more in that direction it starts to feel really weird to move my body, that i have control over only the part of myself but mostly i'm paralyzed ... is there a way to fix this?
  6. Oct 9, 2024Twitter · reply@cptlmao if you have to *say* it is a joke it probably wasn't that funny...
  7. Oct 9, 2024Twitter · reply@cremieuxrecueil only in the sense of removing the govt thumb from the scale in union negotiations that delay & add expense to automation
  8. Oct 9, 2024Twitter · quote🪦💔
  9. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@simoj_ @slurplebrained perhaps but it's been 10+ years since ive taken anything except bupropion which isn't really for bipolar
  10. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@_masterofwolves i didn't know it was him before and now have blocked
  11. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · postjust because you claim it is a joke doesn't make it funny or acceptable
  12. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@slurplebrained lol i have bipolar and am usually sensitive to psych drugs, hence i don't take any at present... so it is so strange to me that psychedelics just seem meh, altered mental state sure but nothing scary or profound
  13. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@potterlab i normally try not to dance on ppl's graves but just hours before his suspension he was being a dick to me about my weight in a groupchat ... and frankly his tweets sucked too.... so rip, good riddance!
  14. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@DaveShapi eh curiosity mostly, and to participate when friends want to do it
  15. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@QiaochuYuan unsure but i've been reading how the throat chakra & neck more generally can be chronically tense as a way of cutting awareness between the head and the bodily sensations of lower chakras... so if it doesn't seem neck specific maybe see if there's something uncomfy lower down?
  16. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@_Xenofy_ umm 2 tabs of acid once, 1/2 another time, most of a shrooms chocolate bar which was supposed to be a large dose another time, a small amount of mdma, a medium dose of thc edibles...
  17. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · quoteseems that both the psychedelic stans and haters agree they're high impact but weirdly my experiences are all middling- not awful, not amazing... idk what to make of this, like what am i missing out on? 😩😩😩
  18. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@sporadica 🤣 lower tbh, but some things aren't mentioned such as kindness & affection
  19. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@HephaistosF yeahhh i guess my experience is that ppl w the means tend to want to live independently and trade around as their needs change- tho without leaving their community & extended family necessarily... like, rich ppl do an inordinate # of real estate transactions and moves
  20. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@HephaistosF there's some on-base housing of variable availability & quality, but if it is decent it often has wait lists and all the more need for short term rentals to cover the gaps
  21. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@HephaistosF if you want ppl to buy & sell whenever they move, then you should support reforms to reduce the transaction cost- FSBO websites w flat listing fee + minimizing transfer taxes + reforms to reduce the title insurance cost etc
  22. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@HephaistosF i mean i've seen it w my sister's family since military moves a lot and are often stationed in places w pretty moderate housing prices but still many ppl prefer to rent rather than buy, and those that buy often end up renting their house to other military ppl
  23. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@HephaistosF it's a bundle of labor & financial structure that are often desired together by ppl who fundamentally want flexibility & limited liability for their housing - if you know you may need to move with limited notice you don't want to be stuck with a house on the market
  24. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · reply@HephaistosF "fully affordable" means what? but also landlords do labor- maintenance and advertising vacancies and paying bills... and their labor & financial risk makes it possible for ppl to rent rather than own- less responsibility, no large downpayment tied up in an illiquid asset...
  25. Oct 8, 2024Twitter · replysrsly tho i wanna buy a star for the mimiverse
