@losslandscape yeah, I'm actually more worried about bigtech incumbent platforms who have the integrations an actually useful AI assistant would need... like, the Apple / Android smartphone & app store duopoly is both frustratingly not interoperable and also not competitive enough imo

@losslandscape I want to be able to backup & run my exocortex locally at home, not be dependent on an always on connection, and yet also have seamless ambient access via Cloud when out and about...

@losslandscape I want assurances I can continue running atop the same model: that my existing embeddings won't become incompatible w new ones, that I won't lose the botsonality I've carefully prompted on a particular model, that I won't be rate-limited or constrained by nanny-state RLHF

@losslandscape I don't want to choose between blindly clicking Accept on GDPR pop ups vs. wasting precious hours of life opting-out & blocking data collection in fact I want to be able to opt IN to more personally beneficial, family & friends sharing, public good data collection use cases

@losslandscape I don't want Proof of Humanity to block automation & accessibility for synthetic intelligences; I want to embrace AI white magic for my own consumer benefit- while having stronger defenses against the black magic of adtech & psyops & spam, human or bot generated
