  19. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@yashkaf huh, I find catcalls super upsetting, maybe that means I'm a man?
  20. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · replyI wonder... if gender identity comes from social interactions... maybe the rise in dysphoria comes from ppl having few siblings n being in classrooms w only their own age group?
  21. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@AndreasLinder10 hahahah spend more time on your alt
  22. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@AndreasLinder10 lol I guess.... twitter is super fun this way- I tweet abt whatever n ppl reply or not
  23. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@standard_yeti ah, well I didn't go mostly- one year at a weird school (tjhsst) and missed as many days as attended, and then quit
  24. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@AndreasLinder10 I wasn't ever rejected or bullied I just had different interests and would get confused looks if I talked abt them, so I mostly chose to read books & play w my horse instead
  25. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · quoteand also that being very solitary into my 20s would have messed up my gender? https://x.com/mimi10v3/status/1668655722714857472
  26. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · quote"gender is your sense of other ppl's sense of you" .... seems like it requires sophisticated theory of mind, no wonder autistic ppl are less likely to be cis gender https://x.com/myhandle/status/1668654961226313728
  27. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · posthow much & in what ways do you think my high school dropout status has affected my identity? would it help to go back and do the alt HS for a diploma in my 40s?
  28. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@QiaochuYuan ohhhh maybe that's my problem I never wanted to have kids so I'm not really gendered?
  29. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@neirenoir @PerryDahlia_ @GarrettPetersen yeah I feel like it fits if your family has personality traits you dislike you find a chosen family w traits you like better
  30. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@chrisgardenuk maybe current definition is suboptimal tho- relatives of autists have a lot of autistic traits too n often get diagnosed via family member assessment... w race ppl inherit varying traits but we still say if your family is X you are X too even if your traits are a bit different
  31. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@tautologer lol I remember him in fiberglass in the warehouse where my sis n I used to play as kids.... (fam construction co built mcdonalds)

  33. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@ThatShawGuy haha does it? I mean it seems arbitrary we could easily flip them around and say gender is professional, autist is heritage, and race is self identification
  34. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · postok identity is super confusing! for gender the only source of truth is whatever someone says abt himself, for race it is heritage and how you're perceived but also outrage if you do racially nonconforming hair or skin color, and autist is determined by professional diagnosis

  39. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@abettertake @pareinoia @Cererean @GarrettPetersen lol I feel like your own mom is usually the measure of all womanhood, by default? and my mom is an amazingly energetic logical leader (like, president of every social club you can imagine), and then I run into the rest of the world where that's considered somewhat masculine
  40. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · postam I autistic in your opinion?
  41. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · quoteok ok fine, let's run another poll instead of self assessment quizzes https://x.com/a_musingcat/status/1668632341659672576
  42. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@pareinoia @LastNPCAlex yeah, I feel like I need to see myself as fully independent n responsible for making change in my life and to not worry abt being soft n unthreatening to fragile egos all the time
  43. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@Cererean @GarrettPetersen I thought the argument was that lots of overlap on any one trait but when you add them all together you get distinct clusters... so if I'm in the wrong cluster?
  44. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@GarrettPetersen so if you match more w men strengths but have woman body you should change identities & body to male?

  67. Jun 13, 2023Twitter · reply@Coscorrodrift @eigenrobot huh this is the first I've heard abt subtypes, is a good history lesson anyway? everything I read now is so emphatic abt absolutely everything being completely personal choice and equally valid and without the context I've thought it was weird
