  46. Jun 12, 2023Bluesky · replyyeah this is very annoying- bsky's premise has been "choose your own adventure" to opt in / out of content, and this is a category of content that's a frequent opt-out! There is no right to reach ppl who have clear preference not to see your content.

  61. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@Holli_e_Gram no, other than like thyroid n inflammation tests back when I was getting diagnosed w bipolar ... I always figured infertility n such is a marker of hormonal problems?
  62. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@ClementDelangue ooo would be fun!
  63. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@BootsPlatypus @a_musingcat it's some boot camp thing ppl sign up for & pay for knowing it's going to be very harsh... idgi but ig adults can do what they want
  64. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@ForCognition what about it is surprising / different than what you'd expect? I'd be grateful if other ppl would run the same poll w different followers to see if there's variation
  65. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@stonedbrainiac hmm lol there's definitely a fluctuating level of sexual interest across the month, maybe that reads as more or less gendered?
  66. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@xtianpu lol... or going the other way, maybe we outlaw eating animals most ppl believe to be sentient?
  67. Jun 12, 2023Bluesky · replyit's so tough! deeper established connections w moots on Twitter, like I can ask them abt my gender and get a bunch of replies from ppl who've known me over time to have some insight
  68. Jun 12, 2023Bluesky · replylol.... but it raises a question- for those of us who still get much more engagement on Twitter than here should we also judge accordingly?
  69. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · postppl have suggested I've had "very femme eras" here... thinking back I think it corresponds to times I was a bit hypomanic- everything feels beautiful and loving and I want to share it all... does anyone else have gender fluctuations that correlate w mood episodes?

  71. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · repostRT @Earthbasedsoul: We can build a beautiful world 💙 #solarpunk #deepdreaming https://t.co/kceHu2goVS
  72. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@DanielleFong @_happyclams hmmmm, interesting... I hadn't thought of it in a gendered sense... those are just hypomanic episodes imo
  73. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@The_Bit_Signal @AndreasLinder10 it's maybe hormones & maybe various surgeries... but what does all of that have to do w sex?
  74. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@animalologist yeah lol, otoh some have grown on me over time... a certain bizarre form of loyalty...
  75. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@DanielleFong @_happyclams hmm have I had really femme phases? it's not intentional / I'm not aware of it?
  76. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@animalologist lmao yeah I have unfollowed n muted a few for this- like, whyyyy hate follow n write snarky replies?
  77. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@AndreasLinder10 in what way? trans ppl can have any sexual orientation?
  78. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@charmide what is your grounding for gender?
  79. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@tautologer I love this and could see getting it myself if I wanted a tattoo
  80. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@MySubliminalMSG partially bec I have a friend who keeps sending me links and asking me questions and arguing w me about it so it's frustrating to not have answers... also bec I dislike the social norms attached to gender and so want to argue against their validity
  81. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@charmide lol, the things you mentioned all have clear criteria imo: citizenship, birth year, title of your job vs census classifications... from what I've read abt gender it seems quite different?
  82. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@neirenoir lol no thanks, also idk if that's in my genes anyway- my dad & granddad's couldn't really grow a beard
  83. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@LastNPCAlex ha yeah maybe... I got raised as pretty gender-neutral "oldest child"- played soccer on a boys team before there was a girls league, lots of fishing and woodworking and sports w my dad
  84. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · quoteI keep thinking back to these poll results... if ~half of ppl feel "cis by default" and gender is not defined by physical traits or personality traits... what IS it? https://x.com/mimi10v3/status/1568040697378242563
  85. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · quotemore results, hmm https://x.com/BootsPlatypus/status/1668313701244346368 https://t.co/woaPj6hW77

  91. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@vestiphile @LastNPCAlex lol yeah, if it's two-way interaction it's flirting or joking or friendliness... and ofc someone has to initiate so like, an occasional attempt that goes nowhere is fine
  92. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@_happyclams it is upsetting that ppl say this bec it makes me feel like they've not been perceiving me accurately all along... which makes me more convinced I want to do it so ppl don't misunderstand me so much
  93. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · quotesee!? https://x.com/TittySommelier/status/1668279446640513024 https://t.co/NqVqDXeVub

  96. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@losingcontrol23 @Pathless110 ppl said they didn't understand why I felt that I'm not a woman bec of all the stuff I've read on twitter, so I wanted to illustrate- it's every day and the sources are varied, I can't just unfollow an account or two and avoid it
  97. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@chopstickfury01 lots of little things, no proof
  98. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · reply@ARLINGTONAF lol it is, I didn't take great pics.. and it'll look a lot better given a few months of growth vs newly-planted look
  99. Jun 12, 2023Twitter · postOf all the conspiracy theories, one I find kinda likely is that there are rebel factions in Twitter trying to ruin it on behalf of their former colleagues
  100. Jun 12, 2023Bluesky · replywhat happened?!
