  29. Dec 28, 2021Twitter · reply@MeiselZachary Lol, in my version the men aren't "destroyed" so much as domesticated, softened, spend their time building fun techie stuff and helping with household chores & emotional labor
  30. Dec 28, 2021Twitter · reply@0x61656c @tszzl @jack (personal theory, something happened when he spent a few days as a guild navigator... Too much spice!)

  38. Dec 28, 2021Twitter · reply@_holyweather @leaacta Imo, from trying to figure out my taxes, the problem is nested layers of definitions, both from statute and precedent from past litigation- basically, stack overflow trying to dig down to a concept I fully understand.
  39. Dec 28, 2021Twitter · reply@_holyweather Idk about Swift, but I'd love to have conversations with the other three because I think they'd surprise me with the things they'd say... Plus with Kanye the bipolar thing and with Elon the ASD 💕 - would like to thank them for being inspirational neurodiverse celebrities

  53. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@righteousritard @BecomingCritter Lol @tszzl standard opening
  54. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@lastcontrarian (also, I said no because imo this is not the last pandemic for all time and I wouldn't want to reduce our arsenal against something like airborne Marburg)
  55. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@lastcontrarian "reverses" how though? Inverting the rules so vaccine and mask mandates are banned where they're currently required and required where they're currently banned..... tempting for the pure chaotic evil 🤣
  56. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@robertwiblin Size of covid dose matters, as do all the other factors affecting respiratory & immune systems
  57. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@robertwiblin Imo weird to treat infection as binary... Vaccine primes an immune response that kicks in after covid enters respiratory tract- how well your immune system does vs virus attempting to replicate determines the intensity & duration of symptoms, infectiousness, and positive tests..
  58. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · repostRT @Whiskeypunk1: https://t.co/U4w5O5VFNf

  62. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@margaretbarthel @SRtwofourfour (I am avoiding pharmacies and libraries for this reason- sick people magnets)
  63. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@margaretbarthel @SRtwofourfour Imo under current conditions taking a voluntary test is a net negative. If it comes up positive, you'll have to run from pharmacy to library seeking more tests till one comes back negative.
  64. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@postdharma Idk, my devs are quiet but cooperative... Not everyone needs to be a leader 🤷‍♀️

  70. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@tepid_intrepid_ Yeah, agree - good reviews are informative / entertaining on their own. It's a vibe thing- being in the arena vs sniping from the sidelines... Particularly when it comes to resigned gloom about their own lives, I wanna smack some agency into them!
  71. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · postRecently have run into quite a few "Film Critics"- just relentless negativity, fault-finding, cynical takes with no positive alternative vision. I respond with object-level arguments mostly aimed at onlookers, because idk how to productively engage... Any ideas?
  72. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@AshtearLucca Also when there's weird system behavior / bug report but not obvious how it happened, other ppl will say "it's not possible" or "idk, wait and see", I can come up with possible failure scenarios and how to test which one actually occurred
  73. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@AshtearLucca I think people find it obnoxious because they disengage from interacting with me and sometimes outright tell me to shut up. Example is like listening to client and reading pile of background materials, then generating design ideas on whiteboard, iterating as they have feedback
  74. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@AshtearLucca My greatest strength is synthesizing complexity into a stream of creative ideas... I use it to an extent, mute myself to an extent because ppl find it obnoxious. Not sure what career shift would allow me to use it more often.
  75. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · repostRT @Mimi_Rose_01: @TaassTed @Outsideness @tszzl @cauchyfriend It's fine, my veneration is because Tesla car popularity has advanced EV adop…
  76. Dec 27, 2021Twitter · reply@TaassTed @Outsideness @tszzl @cauchyfriend Also, on a personal note, I appreciate that he's an Aspie putting himself out there and succeeding without covering up his neurodiversity... role model for the rest of us to aspire to more than the label
  77. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@TaassTed @Outsideness @tszzl @cauchyfriend It's fine, my veneration is because Tesla car popularity has advanced EV adoption in a way that's imo world-changing... SpaceX is objectively the winner of commercial crew program... and he's continuing to push other tech trends that matter- even if he fails I'm glad he's trying
  78. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@TaassTed He's an optimist, I adjust for that, but I also support aiming high and planning for best case scenarios too
  79. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@TaassTed @Outsideness @tszzl @cauchyfriend 🤷‍♀️ Tesla has a strong brand and plenty of capital, they're willing to experiment with diff techs and business models... As someone concerned about air quality from fossil fuel plants, anything that pushes the envelope on clean energy is a win and I wish them well 🤞
  80. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@TaassTed @Outsideness @tszzl @cauchyfriend That part is disappointing so far... But I also get it, they way underestimated the complexities of tangling with retrofits, permitting, contractors... Happy they're wrestling with the problem though
  81. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@InvictusDude @tszzl 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
  82. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@TaassTed @Outsideness @tszzl @cauchyfriend Neil is fun too! luckily I do work that's objectively useful or not, doesn't matter whether I'm cool on Twitter 😎
  83. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · repostRT @elonmusk: @lexfridman Yeah, the smarter someone is, the harder it is to simulate/predict their behavior
  84. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@tszzl @cauchyfriend @TaassTed @Outsideness Normies not getting it == Alpha 🤷‍♀️
  85. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@tszzl @prerationalist She's this adorable mix of actual doubts, "what if..." openminded woo, family traditional beliefs, and trying to play it off as a joke to fit in with atheist techies
  86. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@tszzl @prerationalist 🤣 my friend from Mumbai says according to her star chart she has to ceremonially marry a tree before she can get married for real, or else her husband will die young
  87. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@postdharma @PrinceVogel Dad and I flew down to Florida, knowing that covid was a risk... Didn't take off our masks for plane snacks and overall tried to distance in airports, and got boosters 2 wks in advance, so like doing what we can but also living
  88. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@postdharma @PrinceVogel So, caught covid from attending parties like a normal person, but vaxxed so not too sick, and paying attention to symptoms so didn't infect older family members
  89. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@postdharma @PrinceVogel My fam has been conservative but mostly calm & trying to make rational decisions... Sis just tested positive after losing her sense of smell and cancelling Christmas visit as a precaution, but her family is vaxxed and have mild cases so far 🤷‍♀️
  90. Dec 26, 2021Twitter · reply@PrinceVogel @postdharma Crypton0mikon seems less severe... I wish we had more finished & reviewed research to go on, but I hope ppl update their risk calculations accordingly and the pandemic cure doesn't become worse than the variant
